Personal Injury Law

Personal Injury Attorney in Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida

When you have been hurt by someone else’s carelessness, you deserve full compensation for all of your losses, including property damage, lost wages, pain and suffering, and any permanent scarring or disfiguration.

McGhan Law, LLC handles complex personal injury cases in southwest Georgia and northeast Florida, as well as simple car accidents, and we are geared towards taking these cases to trial. We don’t look for quick settlements from insurance companies.

Don’t settle for a “settlement mill” law firm with hundreds of cases and that only wants to make a quick deal. You know the ones I’m talking about; you have seen them on TV and on billboards. They will sign you as a client, and then tell you that you can’t get any more than the insurance company offers.

DO NOT Speak To The Insurance Company On Your Own!

Just like with law enforcement officers, EVERYTHING you say to the insurance company WILL be used against you. The insurance adjuster has been trained in getting you to make a statement that will harm your case. Aside from making statements to the insurance company, another one of the biggest mistakes some clients make is posting about their personal injury on social media. My advice: DON’T. Again, EVERYTHING you say WILL be used against you.

The insurance company has attorneys on every case. You need an accident attorney watching out for you.

Both Georgia and Florida law sets a time limit for how long you have to see a medical professional after an accident and how long you have to file a personal injury claim. No matter what the statute of limitations is on your claim, you should schedule an initial consultation with an experienced personal injury attorney as soon as possible. A skilled attorney will want to start gathering evidence and building a case right away.
